Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
Deposits and/or payments are non-refundable.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about these policies. It is our goal to protect our mutual interests. Clear policies improve communication, and therefore promote healthy relationships between us.
Private Lessons
- Should the handler cancel a lesson for whatever reason, the lesson will be forfeited.
- Make up classes are not available for any missed classes.
- If you do not use the lesson that was booked for you, the missed lesson’s fee will not be refunded.
- CSC cannot, due to a loss of revenue in the time that was specifically set aside for you, carry days that you may be away – such as being on holiday, sick, out of town, etc.
- As each training session is only an hour long, you are kindly requested to be punctual to enjoy the full benefits of the time set aside for you.
Group Classes
It is the responsibility of each handler to be on time and present for each class.

Refunds of Training or Services
We do not offer a any refunds for our Services.
What Does That Mean?
Our dog training programs form a partnership between our clients, their dog, and our team of dog trainers. The success of our program depends on us performing our job correctly, and also on the owner following up on the homework and strategies that we lay out for them.
We will continue to work with owners who are working hard, and following our recommendations for as long as it takes. In this way, those owners who are truly invested in their dog’s training and well being are assured that they will get everything they need out of our program. Restrictions apply. Cancellation due to weather conditions
In the interest of the health and safety of our handlers and their pets, certain weather conditions may warrant the canceling of class. These weather conditions include:
- Heavy rain or severe Thunderstorm Watch/Warning
- Hail / Snow Storms
- Extreme Heat
If any of the above conditions are present in the Benoni area, we MAY cancel class. We will update you as soon as possible if classes are canceled.
General Refund Policy
No refunds or transfer of classes will be given after a course has commenced.
No refunds or transfer of classes will be given for socialization sessions or maintenance classes.
No refunds or transfer of classes will be given due to dogs coming on heat or health issues.
No refunds or transfer of classes classes will be given due to handlers having health issue.
No refunds or transfer of classes will be given due to isolation.
No refunds or transfer of classes will be given due to weather conditions.
Isolation due to Covid
No refunds or transfer of classes will be issued. If you are quarantined / in isolation we do NOT offer refunds or transfer of classes . This is due to the large number of people having to isolate. We will endeavor to catch you up at your next session. We realize this is not an ideal situation but in order for us to continue running any classes, we cannot offer refunds/transfers for Isolation.
Payment of Fees
Fees are payable in advance for training and must reach us no later than the 3rd of each month. Payments can take a day or two to reflect in our bank so please take this into consideration when paying your account.
We rely on our invoices being settled on time to keep our tails wagging.
Kindly use customer name as your reference.
We regret that no training or services will be undertaken should fees remain unpaid.
Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to discontinue your training lessons or any service we offer, then a calendar month’s notice is required.
Dogs
You are responsible for your dog at all times.
A lead must be on your dog at all times.
Do not allow your dog to roam freely and approach other dogs and owners whilst in training.
You are responsible for any damage caused by yourself or your dog to a person or property.
If you have registered 2 or more dogs for a group training session, you must have a handler for each dog.
Please DO NOT allow your puppy to be on the ground when you are walking to a puppy preschool or socialization venue.
Dogs that bark excessively may need to be removed from class out of respect for local residents in the area, but we will try to work with you in class to avoid this.
Risk
You accept all responsibility of possible risk of injury and or damage to yourself, your dog and any others that accompany you to a training session run by Canine Sports Centre.
Safety
All information you give to Canine Sports Centre before a session, in regards to your dog and its behavior around other dogs and people and vaccination status, should be honest and accurate. If your dog poses a risk to others, is unwell or makes others feel uncomfortable, you may be asked to leave the class. Any minors / children attending a session must be accompanied by an adult and must not disrupt the class.
PLEASE NOTE: We operate under COVID safe plan. To abide by restriction guidelines which is currently max 50 people at a gathering. If you need to bring more than 2 people to a session, we ask you contact us first.
Puppy Vaccinations
Puppies attending our puppy sessions must have had their full set of vaccinations and be in good health. Dogs attending our obedience courses or other sessions must be fully vaccinated and in good health.
Photos/Media
We take photos of our classes and sessions for social media. These photos remain the property of Canine Sports Centre. If you do not wish to be photographed please tell us PRIOR to your session.
Correspondence/communications
Upon registering for a course or class, you will be sent a confirmation It is your responsibility to provide correct contact details and respond accordingly. Failure to do so may result in your registration being cancelled.
